Mounting the SCS 300 through a deskdesk

To mount the SCS 300 through a desk or table using the through

desk mounting kit (Extron part # 70-077-02, MBD 129), do the

following:

1. Attach the mounting brackets to the SCS 300 using four

machine screws and washers supplied with the mounting

kit, as shown in ﬁgure 2-4.

2. Holding the device up against the underside of the surface

to which you are mounting, mark the four screw holes.

3. Drill four pilot holes, each 3/32" (2 mm) in diameter by

1/4" (6.4 mm) deep, where marked on the template.

4. Using the four supplied wood screws, attach the brackets

to the mounting surface (see ﬁgure 2-4).

5. When the SCS 300 is mounted, continue the installation by

connecting the input, output, and power cables.
