R-type Message Format
The standard R-type message structure is shown below in
both ASCII and hexadecimal formats:
ASCII text: ^A R header ^B command ^W ^C
Hexadecimal: 01 52 header 02 command 1703
The contents of the portions denoted by ‘header’ and
‘command’ vary according to the required function and
can be determined from the following tables.
The spaces between characters are included for clarity
only and must not appear in the transmitted message.
Note: A full description of these commands, together with
examples, is available from Electrosonic. Please contact your
local Electrosonic representative for details.
