4. Locate and select the new firmware file. Firmware files are extracted to the

following location: c:\Program Files\Extron\Firmware\MLC 52\

MLC_52_19_1691_50_vx_xx.s19, where vx_xx is the firmware version

number.

Firmware update files have a .s19 extension; make sure that the “Files of

type“ field is set to *.s19.

5. Click Open. The path to the firmware file is displayed in the Select a

Firmware File field on the Firmware Loader window.

6. On the Firmware Loader window, click Upload. The firmware update file is

uploaded to your MLC. During the process, the Firmware Loader window

indicates the progress of the upload.

When the upload is complete, the message “Transfer Complete!” appears in

blue on the Firmware Loader window.

7. Click Exit to close the window. When you reopen the configuration

program, the new firmware version is in effect.
